5.2. Learning tasks

a) Translation and commentary of a selection of epigraphic and literary texts of Archaic time.

b) Translation and commentary of a selection of epigraphic and literary texts from the Vulgar Latin.

c) Translation and commentary from other Latin texts of interest for the study of the history of the Latin language.

1. Diachronic, diafasic, diastratic and diatopical description of the Latin language: different approaches and methods.

2. Latin as Indo-European language.

3. General characteristics of the Archaic Latin.

4. The configuration of Latin as a literary language.
